Developments in titanium manufacturing

On the morning of Nov 14, 2021, the company’s titanium alloy material MIM technology research and development summary and commendation meeting were held. Wang Xianfeng, director of the R&D department, summed up some of the experience of titanium alloy TC4 material in the process of MIM technology research and development. Individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the research and development process are rewarded.

Titanium alloy is a material with high strength, good toughness, low density and excellent corrosion resistance. It has strong advantages in high-tech products, but its machinability is poor and expensive.In the field of MIM, due to the particularity of titanium alloy materials, the elongation of the parts produced can only be maintained below 10%. After our company’s continuous research and development improvement, the current elongation rate can be increased to more than 14%. It has been able to fully meet the requirements of production and processing. In 2021, the company has completed the production of nearly 100,000 parts orders from key customers, which have passed the practical test.
