Our Manufacturing is a precision parts manufacturing company. It was founded in 2011, in Luoyang China, to meet the increasing demand from the Chinese market on precision parts that have the following properties:
Due to the favorable properties of 316L stainless steel, the company started off in 2011 by producing stainless steel parts. Using a combination of metal injection molding (MIM) for production and CNC machining, and surface hardening technique, the company was able to manufacture large batches of precision parts with complex designs at a far lower cost than traditional machining only.
Meeting demands from the Chinese ship industry, parts with a strong resistance to salt corrosion and lightweight were required. Thus, titanium grade 5 was chosen as an alternative material to work with. The company started research on the usage of titanium in 2016. It wasn’t until 2019 that Fortune Precision Parts managed to produce titanium parts on a commercial scale.
Whilst titanium has excellent properties, it is generally not a commercially viable material to utilise due to its high cost. The company has successfully overcome the problem by utilising a manufacturing method involving the combination of MIM and CNC machining, reducing the cost of titanium parts to a level comparable to turned steel parts, making the production of titanium precision parts commercially viable in various industrial field.
Today, the factory has a workspace of about 25.000 m2 and a team of 300 staff members. With the main focus being its research and development department, the company strives to further improve and expand on its technology.
